Hey, guys. Ryan here. I thought I’d update you on the progress of the Japanese translation of the CMR Tuning Software Manual. I’m happy to say the rough draft is nearing completion! It will be done next week, when I and my mechanic coworkers will start using to begin experimenting with tuning. Very exciting!

This translation job has been a lot of fun for me. I have 3 years of previous translating experience, but not a lot with specialized translating like this tuning software. My knowledge of Japanese around this topic has sky-rocketed. As we experiment I’ll be editing and correcting any translation errors. You may not believe it, but there is no such thing as a perfect translation from the first go. This has become quite a special project to me, and I will be making sure it is easily readable and accessible for advanced users and beginners alike.
